School plays a vital role in the growth and development of students by nurturing their intellectual, emotional, and social skills. “The main reason for choosing Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, is that I am an alumnus of this esteemed institute, having completed my Class XI and XII here. Being well-acquainted with its nurturing environment and high academic standards, I was confident in my decision, as Apeejay is renowned as one of the most reputed schools in the city,” shares Anuroop Trehan, whose son, Aarav, studies in Class VII.
Read on to know how Teachers guide students to develop discipline, empathy, and responsibility.
How are the teachers supporting Aarav in academics?
The teachers here are very supportive, and they put in their full efforts to make sure that the concepts are clear to the children. Aarav has been consistently scoring well in all the classes. If the child has any doubts regarding any topic, the teachers are always ready to help.
How is the parent-teacher interaction here?
During the parent-teacher interaction, the teachers not only listen to the parents’ doubts but also make sure that our queries are solved. They are polite and are available even after school hours.
How is the pedagogy?
The pedagogy here is very good. Though the teachers explain everything in class, they also send extra worksheets through WhatsApp for practice at home, and they make sure to check those in school. This makes the kid perfect in that subject, which is beneficial for them during exam time.
Which extracurricular activities help hone your child?
Aarav has been participating in various cubing competitions (Rubik’s Cube) and has won many medals. In his free time, he practices his cubes, which refreshes his mind and keeps him away from gadgets. Though it is not taught in school, the teachers still encourage him to go ahead with this skill and participate in more competitions in future.

What are the core strength areas of this school?
The teachers here are experienced, and they very well know how to prepare the children for the challenges ahead in life. Moreover, the school’s Board results are always awesome.
How are you handling his studies at home?
Even though Aarav is a sincere student, I do involve myself in his curriculum and studies to make sure that he doesn’t miss out on anything and studies well.
