The school supports its students by providing a structured and stimulating environment that balances academics, co-curricular activities, and personal development. “We chose Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, because, as alumni, we have experienced the school’s strong values, supportive environment, and commitment to holistic education first-hand. We always hoped our children would grow within the same nurturing community, benefiting from its academic excellence, balanced development, and the sense of belonging the institution provides,” says Sharad Kapoor, whose daughter, Keiravi Kapoor, studies in Class IX here.
Read on to know how teachers employ concept-based learning, practical experiments, and interactive sessions to strengthen core subjects.
With Board exams ahead, how are the teachers supporting her?
There are regular revisions, practice papers, and focused doubt-clearing sessions. They also provide guidance on time management and effective exam strategies, helping her stay confident, organised, and well-prepared for the assessments.
What stream will she choose? What are her plans?
She plans to select a stream that best matches her strengths and interests. At present, she is inclined toward the Science stream, as it aligns with her long-term goal of preparing for and clearing NEET. She hopes this path will support her ambition to pursue a career in the medical field.
Which extracurricular activities help in her holistic growth?
Extracurricular activities like sports, art, dance, painting, debates, and MUNs have greatly contributed to her holistic development. These activities enhance confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork, allowing her to explore her interests while building essential life skills that support her overall growth and personality development.
How do you handle her studies at home?
I help her make a study timetable, revise regularly, and stay consistent. I ensure she studies in a calm environment and receives proper breaks with occasional outings and some evening strolls.
How is the pedagogy structured?
The school follows a balanced pedagogy that combines concept-based learning, hands-on activities, and continuous reinforcement. Lessons are designed to build strong understanding through practical application, interactive methods, and timely revisions. This approach ensures students grasp core concepts effectively while staying engaged, confident, and prepared for progressive learning at each stage.
