Schools play a crucial role in supporting senior students as they prepare for a major academic milestone. “Teachers focus on concept clarity, regular assessments, and doubt-clearing sessions to ensure students are exam-ready,” shares Rina Kumari, whose son, Drishtant, studies in Class X at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. Read on to learn how the school also encourages peer collaboration, self-discipline, and goal-setting.

How are the teachers supporting him?

The teachers have been supportive of my son’s academic and personal development. They are approachable and take time to understand each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. They give regular feedback, help him when he has doubts, and motivate him to do his best. What I really appreciate is that they encourage not just good marks, but also curiosity and independent thinking. Whether it’s through extra attention in class, encouraging participation in activities, or simply being kind and patient, the teachers have played a big role in building his confidence.

Is there stress to face the Boards for the first time?

Yes, there is some stress, and it’s natural. But the school and teachers are helping him prepare well, which has reduced a lot of the pressure. We try to support him at home by keeping a balanced routine and staying positive.

How is the parent-teacher interaction here?

It is positive and constructive. Teachers are approachable and open to communication. They regularly share updates about our child’s academic progress, behaviour, and overall development. What we appreciate most is that they genuinely listen to our concerns and give helpful suggestions. It creates a strong sense of partnership between parents and the school in supporting the child’s growth.

Why did you choose this school?

We chose it because its strong academic program and caring faculty stood out to us. The school also offers many opportunities—from sports to arts—to help students grow in all areas. We appreciated its focus on core values like respect and leadership. A few trusted friends gave glowing feedback about both the learning environment and the overall culture, which really sealed our decision.

Which school facilities are student-friendly?

The library and computer labs provide excellent support for academic growth. There are also playgrounds and sports facilities that help students stay active and refreshed. The school also maintains a clean, safe environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to learn.
