To strengthen students’ social-emotional and critical thinking abilities, the School Counsellor, Ms Ria SharmaApeejay School, Mahavir Marg, conducted an engaging Interactive Scenario Quiz for the students of Class VII-B at the school premises. The session transformed the classroom into a dynamic learning hub as students were divided into five teams according to their seating rows.

Each team was presented with thoughtfully designed real-life situations ranging from peer pressure and friendship challenges to responsible online behaviour and empathy in day-to-day interactions. Students discussed possible responses within their teams, shared their viewpoints confidently, and then participated in a voting process to determine the most responsible and effective course of action.

The activity not only encouraged open conversations but also helped students understand the consequences of their choices. With Ms Sharma guiding them through reflective discussions, the learners realised how collaboration and a collective mindset can lead to stronger, more positive decisions. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as students interacted, debated options respectfully, and showcased their understanding of values such as responsibility, kindness, and teamwork.

The exercise proved to be an enriching platform for building confidence, strengthening communication, and developing social awareness; a core focus of holistic education at Apeejay Schools.

Through this interactive activity, students learned the importance of evaluating situations thoughtfully before reacting. They discovered how listening to diverse perspectives leads to better decisions and that their actions can impact others in meaningful ways. The session fostered responsibility, empathy, and collective problem-solving skills essential for becoming conscientious and emotionally intelligent individuals.
