In every classroom, there are students who shine bright through their dedication, curiosity, and consistent efforts. Apeejay School, Kharghar takes pride in celebrating these rising stars who not only excel academically but also embody the values of self-discipline and passion for learning. We spoke to three students – Samanvi Kandakure, Divyam Tarade, and Radha Deulkar – who emerged as top performers in Class 4 in the academic session 2024-25. Let’s hear what they had to say about their journey, routine, and future goals.

Samanvi Kandakure – A Love for Numbers and Nature

With an outstanding score of 98.4125%, Samanvi Kandakure has set the bar high. Now in Class 5, she credits her success to a simple but effective strategy: consistent revision and a balanced schedule. “I started preparing one month before the exams,” she shared. “I studied 3 to 4 hours daily and went out to play on alternate evenings.” Her biggest challenge was Social Studies, but she overcame it by revising the lessons multiple times.

Samanvi’s parents were thrilled with her performance. “They were happy and very surprised,” she laughed. This year, she’s particularly excited to dive deeper into Maths and Science, subjects she thoroughly enjoys. “In the past 15 days of Class 5, I’ve already learned about plants, numeration systems, and more,” she added enthusiastically.

Divyam Tarade – A Wordsmith with a Sporting Spirit

Another shining star of Class 4, Divyam Tarade scored a brilliant 97.775%. “I made sure I didn’t lose focus during study time,” said Divyam, who believes that balance is key. “I play during my free time, then study again.” His favorite subject is English, simply because “it has many wonderful words like beautiful and amazing.”

With the new academic year underway, Divyam has already started exploring new chapters in Science and Maths. At home, both his parents support his learning journey. “My mother was amazed by my result and wondered how I manage it every year without any tuition,” he said proudly. When he’s not studying, you’ll find Divyam enjoying a game of cricket or football.

Radha Deulkar – The Creative Learner

Radha Deulkar, who secured 97.6875%, brings creativity into her studies. “I have a whiteboard at home where I play teacher-teacher,” she said. “It helps me recall what I study.” Though she initially found Maths and Social Studies difficult, she overcame these hurdles by practicing regularly. “My father brought me extra printouts for Maths practice. I did them again and again,” she shared.

Her parents were equally thrilled with her success. Radha is now focused on improving her calculation speed in Maths this year. “I want to make my calculations faster,” she said with determination. Her imaginative way of learning and strong willpower make her a true role model for her peers.
