In a remarkable initiative fostering global citizenship and environmental awareness, the students of class IX at Apeejay School, Saket, India, joined hands with their counterparts from St. Albans School, UK, for a collaborative project titled “Cleaning River Thames: A Comparative Study.”
This innovative exchange allowed students to analyse the conservation efforts surrounding the iconic River Thames. The initiative empowered students to think critically about environmental challenges and share actionable solutions. With an emphasis on experiential learning, the project bridged geographical boundaries, allowing students to exchange ideas, compare cultural perspectives, and collaboratively promote sustainable living practices.

Such collaborations highlight the importance of global partnerships in tackling environmental issues while providing students with a platform to grow as informed, responsible citizens. Through this endeavour, the students of Apeejay School, Saket, and St. Albans, UK, demonstrated their commitment to protecting the planet, one innovative project at a time.
