The close of an academic session often brings a quiet sense of transition, especially for young learners still finding their place in school life. At Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, students from the Foundational Stage, covering Pre-primary to Class II, marked this shift through a culmination party held at the end of the 2025–26 session.

At this stage, school is still a new experience for many children. Over the year, classrooms become familiar spaces, teachers become trusted figures, and friendships begin to take shape. The event reflected this journey, not as a formal milestone, but as a shared moment of pause before moving ahead.

A day of play, music, and shared moments

The celebration brought together students, teachers, and parents in a setting that moved away from routine. Games formed a central part of the day, giving children a chance to interact more freely with their peers. Music added a sense of ease to the gathering, and the presence of simple culinary treats made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Teachers remained closely engaged throughout, guiding activities while allowing children to respond in their own way. There was a noticeable ease in how students interacted, suggesting a level of comfort built over the course of the year.

Events like these often serve a purpose beyond celebration. They create opportunities for children to build confidence in informal settings, where interaction is not guided by lessons or instructions. At this stage, even small exchanges contribute to how children begin to understand group settings and relationships.

The culmination party reflected this balance. It marked the end of an academic session while also reinforcing the importance of social and emotional learning during the early years.

Looking ahead

As the session concludes, the transition to the next stage begins. For young students, experiences like these often shape how they remember their first years of school.

The school acknowledged the collective effort of students, parents, and staff in making the event possible, underlining the shared role each plays in early education. What remains is not just the memory of a celebration but a sense of readiness for what comes next.
