The Journey to the Internship
Gaurav’s internship at Hazelnut Cyborg Infra Solutions is set to begin in April and will continue till June. When asked about his interview experience, he described it as “good” and explained that he was asked about real estate and plot prices. The company, primarily dealing with cloud technology services, required candidates to have a fair understanding of business trends and market analysis.
The Role of Apeejay’s Placement Cell
Gaurav credits his selection to the efforts of the placement cell at Apeejay School of Management. “I got this internship through the college itself,” he confirmed. The placement cell plays a crucial role in equipping students with the necessary skills for job interviews. Gaurav mentioned that their sessions have been particularly helpful in teaching students how to write professional emails, create impactful resumes, and effectively communicate with HR personnel.
With 149 students in his batch, around 20–25 have secured internships so far, indicating the effectiveness of the placement support at the institute.
The Rigorous Selection Process
Bagging this internship was no easy feat. Gaurav had to go through six rounds of selection, which included aptitude tests, personal interviews (PI), and group discussions (GD). He also had to demonstrate a basic understanding of the company and its operations.

As a first-year PGDM student, Gaurav is eager to embark on his professional journey. In his role as a Business Development Associate, he will gain hands-on experience in market research, client interaction, and business strategy development.
