Tell us a bit about yourself.
I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. Football is one of my favourite sports to play. Cycling is another passion of mine.

Briefly describe your participation in the Mera Hunar TV show.
I am passionate about bhangra and have worked diligently to earn a spot on the team. So far, I’ve completed the first round, and I’m eagerly preparing for the second round, which is still ahead. I started learning the dance style at home, I practice by myself. And just to share, I only started practising last year.
How did you feel performing for the first time?
I was a bit nervous at first, but once I stepped onto the stage, I quickly found my confidence. Being in my element, fully immersed in the dance, brought a sense of joy and fulfilment. It was a wonderful experience to showcase my hard work and passion for bhangra, and the energy from the audience only made it more rewarding.
How did you feel when conferred with the gold medal certificate and the shield?
I was thrilled and excited when my name was called out. The energy and enthusiasm that came with it were truly uplifting and motivated me to push myself even more.
Who helps you with the practice?
At home, my mother is incredibly supportive and always encourages me to pursue my passions. At school, all my teachers, including Principal ma’am, have been incredibly supportive, offering love and guidance every step of the way. The school has been a pillar of support, providing not only motivation but also a positive environment to grow and succeed. Their belief in me has truly made a difference in my journey.

How do you manage practice with studies?
After returning from school, I dedicate my time to playing until 5 pm. Once I’m back, my focus shifts entirely to practice for one hour. Once done, I find solace in studying. This balance between playtime and focused studying helps me grow both physically and mentally in my journey.
Any challenges you faced?
I have a strong competitor who performs the Himachali Dance. She’s incredibly talented, and her performances are truly inspiring. I look forward to the challenge of competing against her, as it pushes me to improve and showcase my best abilities.
