What motivated you for the marathon?
My passion for running and the well-organised nature of the event motivated me to participate in the marathon. My Social Studies teacher inspired and encouraged me to take part in the marathon, making the experience even more meaningful.
Share your training regime.
My training regime includes short runs at home, focusing on gradually increasing distance and intensity. I start with warm-up exercises like stretching and light jogging to prepare my body. After each run, I perform cooling-down stretches to aid recovery. This structured approach helps build endurance, improve performance, and prevent injuries.
Do you want to take up running professionally?
I’m not entirely sure about pursuing running professionally just yet. My main focus right now is on my studies, as I aim to excel academically. However, I enjoy running and find it motivating, so I’m taking things one step at a time and keeping my options open for the future.
Any special diet you follow?
I follow a protein-rich diet along with plenty of fluids to support my fitness and energy levels. This includes lean proteins like chicken, eggs, and legumes, along with fruits, vegetables, and plenty of water to stay hydrated and maintain overall well-being.
How did Apeejay support your journey?
My Social studies teacher has been incredibly supportive throughout my journey. She motivated me to take up running and has always encouraged my fitness goals. A special thank you to the Principal ma’am, for her continued support in all student endeavours.
