Tell us about your recent achievements in aerobics.

Recently, I took part in the CBSE National Aerobics Championship and secured a place in the semi-finals. A couple of weeks back, I won the Gold at the Raigad District Championship.

Who is your inspiration?

I look up to Pranati Nayak. When I watched her videos, I felt the urge to be able to do things that she did. She expresses the sport beautifully which makes you want to be as good as she is

Who is your favourite acrobat and why?

Daniyel Del, a miner by trade, combines his passion for acrobatic gymnastics with his day job. He makes me see that nothing would stop you from pursuing an interest. When you work hard and put in time, the tree will always bear fruits.

How did Apeejay support you in your craft?

My school PE teacher gave me guidance and support, which matters a lot to me. She has always encouraged me. My coach has also supported my participation and encouraged my passion.

Do you want to pursue aerobics professionally?

I would love to continue this sport, but I’ll maintain a balance between academics and gymnastics.

How has aerobics changed your life personally?

Aerobics gave me a new perspective while competing by boosting my willpower. It builds confidence and makes me feel energetic. I love performing on stage, it pushes my limits.

What’s the most challenging part of aerobics and how did you overcome it?

I felt that the most challenging part was managing time and maintaining enthusiasm throughout the year. Having a balance between academics and sports sure felt difficult at first but with time, it paved the way. I wasn’t enthusiastic throughout the year but I sure was consistent with the unwavering support my mother gave. That builds my self-esteem.
