Recently, Apeejay School Panchsheel Park, celebrated a proud academic milestone as Saanvi Joshi secured Rank 33 in the Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP). The results were announced on February 26, 2026, by the Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi. The Class IX, now going into Class X, student achieved an impressive score of 161, placing her among the top performers in the state-level exam.

The MVPP encourages scientific curiosity and analytical thinking among students. It challenges participants to apply concepts, reason through problems, and think beyond routine textbook learning.

This achievement reflects steady effort, curiosity, and disciplined preparation. Her success also highlights the role of strong academic guidance and encouragement at home. In a candid interview, she talks about the strategy that helped her achieve this milestone, among other things.

Tell us about yourself.

I have always been interested in mathematics and enjoy solving problems and exploring new ideas in the subject. When I got to know that I had ranked 33, I was thrilled. I feel grateful for the rank because I was not completely sure I would achieve one. At the same time, a small part of me feels there is still more to achieve, and that motivates me to keep improving.

What was the most memorable moment during your preparation?

The entire preparation process was memorable. I genuinely enjoy solving problems, so the journey itself was exciting and fun. A study habit that helped me perform well was solving previous year’s question papers. It helped me understand the exam pattern and practice different types of questions.

How did you stay focused during the exam?

I practised by solving each paper within a fixed time limit and removing distractions while studying so that I could concentrate fully. I wanted to test my abilities and challenge myself. Achieving something meaningful and earning a government exam certificate was also a strong motivation.

How did your teachers and school help you prepare for the test?

The teachers and the school organised after-school classes for about a month. During these sessions, teachers helped us understand the basic concepts and guided us on how to approach competitive exams.

Saanvi’s accomplishment stands as a reminder that curiosity, discipline, and consistent practice can open doors to meaningful success. The school community congratulates her and wishes her many more achievements in the years ahead.
