He is waiting to make his pitch-perfect dream of finding a spot in the Indian cricket squad come true, so up till then he is undeniably determined and focused. Meet Divyansh Choudhary who is studying in class IV at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. In a candid interview, he expresses how his teachers are like the wind beneath his wings motivating him to keep soaring high.
How did you feel after receiving the scholar badge?
I feel extremely thrilled and relieved after receiving my scholarship batch! It’s a dream come true to have my hard work and dedication recognised. The feeling of being rewarded for my efforts is incredibly satisfying. Receiving this scholarship is not just a financial boost, but also a huge confidence booster. It motivates me to work even harder and pursue my goals with renewed passion. I’m grateful to my parents, teachers, and everyone who has supported me on this journey. This scholarship is a reminder that their efforts and sacrifices have not gone unnoticed. Overall, I’m overjoyed and humbled by this achievement.
Share about your preparation strategies.
I study hard for my exams. I make a timetable and follow it every day. I read my books and notes again and again to remember important things. I also practice solving Math problems and writing answers to questions. My parents and teachers help me when I don’t understand something. I take breaks and play outside to stay happy and healthy. This helps me feel confident and ready for my exams!

What’s your favourite subject?
English is my favourite subject. I love learning new words and making sentences. It’s fun to read stories and poems in class. My teacher reads us interesting stories and we get to draw pictures too! English helps me write letters to my friends and family. I feel proud when I write my own stories.
What’s your ambition?
My ambition is to become a cricketer. I love playing cricket and watching cricket matches. I want to play for my country’s team one day and make my family and friends proud. I practice batting, bowling and fielding every day to achieve my dream. Sachin Tendulkar is my idol and I want to be a great cricketer like him!
How did the teachers support you?
My teachers help me a lot in school. They explain things clearly and make learning fun. When I don’t understand something, they give me extra help and explain it again. They also encourage me to ask questions and try new things. My teachers are kind and patient. They make me feel happy and confident in class. They help me with my studies and also teach me good manners and values. I like my teachers because they are nice and helpful. They make school a fun and exciting place to be. I feel lucky to have such wonderful teachers!
