A significant stride in international academic collaboration was made during the APAIE 2025 Conference held at the prestigious Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka, New Delhi. A delegation from Apeejay School of Management (ASM), comprising Dr. Ishita Adhikari, Dr. Vernika Agarwal, and Dr. Pooja Chaturvedi Sharma, had the opportunity to engage in an insightful dialogue with Ms. Dorota Lichmira, Development Manager at the International Affairs Department of EM Normandie Business School, France.

The meeting centered on building a robust academic partnership between Apeejay School of Management and EM Normandie. Recognized for its global educational footprint and commitment to academic excellence, EM Normandie has shown keen interest in fostering international engagements, and this interaction marked the beginning of a potentially fruitful collaboration.

Key areas discussed during the meeting included student-focused initiatives such as Summer School and Short-Term Programmes. These offerings are designed to provide students with international exposure, immersive cultural experiences, and a deeper understanding of global business practices, all within a condensed academic framework.

Another major point of discussion was the establishment of a Faculty Exchange Programme. This initiative aims to facilitate cross-cultural academic engagement, where faculty members from both institutions can contribute to teaching, research, and knowledge sharing across borders. Such exchanges not only broaden the academic perspectives of educators but also create rich learning environments for students.

Furthermore, both parties explored the possibilities of collaboration under the Erasmus+ Programme, particularly in the domain of Capacity Building in Higher Education. This European Union initiative could pave the way for structured academic cooperation, curriculum development, and skill enhancement through international partnerships. Participating in Erasmus+ would be a major step forward for ASM, aligning it with globally recognized academic frameworks.

The meeting concluded on an optimistic note, with both institutions expressing strong interest in taking these ideas forward. The discussion laid the foundation for an enduring partnership aimed at enhancing academic excellence and global connectivity.

Reflecting on the interaction, ASM representatives shared their enthusiasm about the prospects of this alliance. “Collaborations like these help us align with global best practices in education, open new doors for academic innovation, and enrich our institutional ecosystem,” mentioned Dr. Ishita Adhikari.

Further adding Dr. Vernika Agarwal mentioned, “In today’s interconnected world, it is imperative that our students and faculty experience a global learning environment. This dialogue with EM Normandie sets the stage for meaningful international opportunities and cultural immersion.”

This dialogue at APAIE 2025 marks the beginning of what promises to be a dynamic collaboration between Apeejay School of Management and EM Normandie Business School — one that will undoubtedly enrich the academic journeys of students and faculty members alike.
