Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar recently hosted the vibrant ‘Spring Fiesta 2025′, a grand celebration marking the Golden Jubilee of the institution. The event was a spectacular blend of creativity, culture, and celebration, showcasing the students’ entrepreneurial and artistic talents.

The occasion was graced by Ms. Gurjot Kaur, Executive Editor of Ajit Group of Publications, who presided over as the Chief Guest. Ms. Kaur, also the Director of Sarb Multiplex, Jalandhar, and a Member of the Advisory Committee of GNDU, Amritsar, and Punjab Technical University, was warmly welcomed by the college. The event also had the esteemed presence of Dr. Sucharita Sharma, Director of Apeejay Education, as the Guest of Honour.

Welcoming the esteemed guests, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA, expressed immense pride in the institution’s 50-year journey and credited the success of the college to the vision of the Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul Ji, and the leadership of Mrs Sushma Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University. She also acknowledged the unwavering support of Mrs Sushma Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University.

Further Dr Dhingra welcomed Ms. Gurjot Kaur while praising her remarkable contributions to Punjabi literature and journalism. She also acknowledged Dr. Sucharita Sharma’s instrumental role in shaping the college’s journey over the past five decades, recognising her dedication and relentless efforts in making the institution a center of excellence.

Addressing the audience, Ms. Gurjot Kaur mentioned, “Apeejay College is known for its pioneering role in promoting culture, art, and education.” She further expressed her delight in being part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations and acknowledged the college’s contributions to nurturing talent and excellence.

Dr. Dhingra emphasised that Spring Fiesta serves as a platform for students to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The event has been a long-standing tradition of the college, encouraging students to explore their talents beyond academics.

The event commenced with a graceful Saraswati Vandana performance, setting a divine and artistic tone for the day. The audience was then treated to a remarkable musical performance by Anadi Mishra, an emerging name in Classical and Contemporary singing. His soulful presence added charm to the celebration.

Adding to the excitement, RJ Super Boy Karan entertained the gathering with engaging games and fun activities, making the day even more enjoyable for students and guests alike.

Dr. Dhingra extended her appreciation to Dr. Jagmohan Mago, Dr. Monika Anand, and Dr. Payal Arora for their dedication and hard work in successfully organising Spring Fiesta 2025. The event concluded on a high note, with a renewed sense of pride and enthusiasm among students and faculty.
