Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar, once again upheld its tradition of selfless service through a noble initiative—the Food Donation Drive. As part of this heart-warming endeavour, parents, guided by the dedicated teachers of the school, actively participated in distributing essential food supplies to the underprivileged. The enthusiasm and generosity displayed during this initiative made it a truly meaningful effort, fostering the values of kindness, empathy, and social responsibility among the school community.
Living the legacy of the Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya Group & Apeejay Education, Dr Stya Paul, the school launched this drive as the first step towards man-making and nation-building, under the esteemed leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education. With a commitment to making a difference, the school has made this initiative an annual tradition, reinforcing its deep-rooted belief in community service.
The parents and teachers came together to donate food items, ensuring that the less fortunate had access to nutritious meals. From biscuits and homemade chapati rolls to fresh fruits and buns, every contribution, regardless of size, played a vital role in alleviating hunger. The generosity of the school community was truly commendable, as each act of giving contributed to making a difference in someone’s life.

One of the most touching moments of the drive was witnessing the joy and gratitude on the faces of those who received the meals. The warmth of freshly prepared homemade food brought a sense of deep contentment, reaffirming the power of collective action and kindness. Many parents shared that being a part of this initiative was an eye-opening experience for their children, as it instilled in them the importance of sharing and caring for others.
The Officiating Principal, Mrs Priyanka Grover, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for all the parents and teachers who contributed to making the event a success. She emphasised that small acts of kindness create ripples of positive change and that such initiatives help in shaping compassionate and responsible individuals. She further highlighted that through collective efforts, the school community continues to make a meaningful impact on society.
The Food Donation Drive was not just about distributing meals — it was about fostering a culture of kindness, building a stronger community, and creating lasting change. The school looks forward to carrying forward this tradition with even greater zeal in the years to come, ensuring that no one around them goes to bed hungry.

Beyond merely providing food, the initiative fostered a deep sense of empathy and unity among students, parents, and teachers. The act of giving not only benefited the recipients but also enriched the givers, instilling a greater appreciation for the privileges they enjoy. The experience reinforced the values of service and humanity that Apeejay School stands for, inspiring everyone to continue working towards the welfare of the community.
