Sparkle-3.O shines bright with creativity, culture and community spirit at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg

Under the visionary guidance and dynamic leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg organised its much-awaited annual extravaganza ‘Sparkle-3.O’. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and guests, making it a memorable celebration of creativity, culture, and learning.

A Grand Beginning

The celebration commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr. Vivek Kumar Modi, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Adampur, District Jalandhar, who graced the occasion with his presence. He was received by Principal Mr. Yash Pal SharmaDr. Sucharita Sharma, Director, Apeejay Education, along with several dignitaries including Mr. Nirmal MahajanMr. Bhupender KatariaDr. Neerja DhingraDr. Rajesh BaggaDr. Rajesh Kumar ChandelMr. A.K. Sharma, and Mrs. Aarti Shori Bhatt, Vice Principal of the school.

The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the victory of knowledge over ignorance. This was followed by a devotional dance performance by the students, which set a serene tone for the day. The Music Department then presented a melodious rendition that filled the atmosphere with joy and reverence.

A Fusion of Talent and Learning

One of the most awaited segments of the event was the Ramp Walk, where students displayed creativity and confidence through their dazzling attire and artistic presentation. From elegant jewellery to thematic costumes, the ramp became a canvas of imagination and self-expression.

The solo song competition added another melodic layer to the event, as students impressed the audience with their vocal talent and stage presence. These performances not only entertained but also encouraged students to explore their artistic side — a crucial part of holistic education.

Later, the second Chief Guest, Mr. Mohinder Bhagat, Minister of Horticulture, Punjab, joined the celebration and was warmly received by the school leadership.

Learning with a Purpose

The highlight of the day was an impactful street play (Nukkar Natak) titled “Clean Earth, Our Responsibility”. Through this performance, students conveyed a strong message on environmental conservation and civic responsibility. The play encouraged both children and adults to adopt sustainable habits — a reminder that education is not limited to books but extends to shaping a better world.

Fun, Fitness and Family Bonding

‘Sparkle-3.O’ also featured a wide array of engaging activities such as a Yoga competitionHealthy Baby Showsolo dance performances, and a fancy dress contest. Each event encouraged confidence, fitness, and creativity among participants.

The school grounds buzzed with excitement as families enjoyed games, joy rides, and food stalls serving mouth-watering delicacies. A Tambola game kept the thrill alive, while a tattoo art corner added colour and fun to the festive atmosphere. The event thus became a perfect blend of entertainment and experiential learning.

A Joyful Finale

As evening descended, the crowd gathered eagerly for the closing ceremony, graced by the popular RJ Pak Pak Deepak from Radio Mirchi. His lively interaction and the much-anticipated lucky draw results brought a wave of cheer among the audience.

In his heartfelt address, Principal Mr. Yash Pal Sharma extended gratitude to all the dignitaries, parents, and students for making the event a success. He said, “Such events are very important for the holistic development of children. They are not just a source of entertainment but also inspire new energy and positive thinking. This program is not only a medium of joy but also an effort to strengthen the bond between our students and the community.”

With its blend of learning, laughter, and lively performances, ‘Sparkle-3.O’ truly lived up to its name — adding sparkle to the hearts of everyone present. It was a day that celebrated not just talent, but the joy of togetherness, creativity, and the spirit of lifelong learning — values that form the foundation of Apeejay Education’s philosophy.
