The first week of the Six Week MSME Workshop commenced with an engaging inaugural session that introduced students to the objectives, structure, and vision of the training programme. The session set a purposeful tone, outlining the workshop’s focus on skill development in web designing and its growing relevance in today’s digital-driven economy.
The coordinators presented a comprehensive overview of the course roadmap, detailing the learning modules, practical assignments, and evaluation criteria. Emphasis was placed on experiential learning, ensuring that participants would gain hands-on exposure alongside conceptual clarity. Students were also briefed on how web designing skills can significantly enhance employability prospects and open entrepreneurial avenues under the MSME framework, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to the digital ecosystem.

The key objectives of the training programme include understanding basic to advanced web technologies, designing and developing responsive websites, gaining hands-on experience through real-time projects, enhancing creativity and problem-solving abilities, and preparing participants for freelancing and employment opportunities. These goals reflect the workshop’s holistic approach to nurturing both technical competence and professional readiness.
The first week proved to be informative, interactive, and foundational. Sessions covered introductory concepts and core web technologies, equipping participants with essential knowledge required for website creation. Through a balanced blend of theoretical explanations and practical demonstrations, students developed a clear understanding of web fundamentals, including HTML structure, tags and attributes, text formatting, hyperlinks, and image integration. Practical exercises enabled them to apply these concepts, reinforcing learning through direct implementation.

Participants actively engaged in discussions and lab sessions, demonstrating enthusiasm and curiosity. The interactive format encouraged questions, experimentation, and collaborative learning, ensuring that every student built a strong conceptual base before progressing to advanced topics in the coming weeks. By the end of the first week, students had successfully created basic web pages, marking an encouraging start to their technical journey.
The smooth execution of the programme was made possible through the dedicated support and guidance of Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC; Dr. Avnip Deora, Dean; and Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Head of Department. The coordinators, Mr. Amarpreeet Singh and Mr. Vikas Kumar from the School of IT and Engineering, played a pivotal role in organizing and facilitating the sessions, ensuring that the workshop began seamlessly and effectively.
Overall, the inaugural week laid a strong academic and practical foundation for the Six Week MSME Workshop. With a clear roadmap, structured training modules, and enthusiastic participation, the programme has begun on a highly positive and promising note, setting the stage for deeper learning and skill enhancement in the weeks ahead.
