Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, has once again proven its excellence in sports as its young shuttlers delivered stellar performances in two prestigious tournaments — the Jalandhar District Badminton Championship and the Jalandhar Gymkhana Sports Carnival 2025. With grit, talent and unwavering determination, the students brought laurels to the school, showcasing the true spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Students of Zone-3 put up a remarkable performance at the Jalandhar District Badminton Championship, organised by the Punjab School Education Board. Their impressive participation resulted in top positions across multiple categories, making the institution proud.
Achievements are as follows:
· Under-14 Boys – First Position
· Under-17 Boys – First Position
· Under-14 Girls – Second Position
· Under-17 Girls – First Position
· Under-19 Girls – First Position
Their achievements reflect exceptional training, discipline, and competitive spirit. The entire Apeejay Education fraternity expressed immense pride in the hard work and dedication of these young athletes. The school Principal, Mr Yashpal Sharma, Vice-principal Ms Aarti Shorey Bhat, and HOD (Physical Education) Mr Sanjeev Gandhi congratulated the winners and applauded their commitment towards the sport. They also encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence at the state and national levels.
Further adding to the celebration, students delivered a power-packed performance at the Badminton Tournament organised during the Jalandhar Gymkhana Sports Carnival 2025. Competing against skilled opponents, the students showcased extraordinary precision, agility and resilience.

The winners are:
· Ujjwal Bharti (Class V-B) – Two Gold Medals (Boys Doubles – Under-13 & Under-15), Silver Medal (Boys Singles – Under-13)
· Tanmay Puri (Class V-B) – Gold Medal (Boys Singles – Under-11), Silver Medal (Boys Doubles – Under-11)
· Pranvi Chopra (Class V-C) – Gold Medal (Girls Singles – Under-11)
· Devina Puri (Class VI) – Silver Medal (Girls Doubles – Under-13)
· Aaina Chopra (Class VI) – Silver Medal (Girls Doubles – Under-13)
· Ridhwaan Chopra (Class II) – Gold Medal (Boys Doubles – Under-9)
· Ziven Batra (Class II) – Gold Medal (Boys Doubles – Under-9)
Each of these athletes demonstrated exceptional commitment and perseverance, making the school proud with their remarkable performances. The Principal extended heartfelt congratulations to all the winners.
