Seeking divine blessings for success

In keeping with the rich cultural heritage of India and the belief that spiritual well-being strengthens academic performance, Apeejay School, Kharghar organised a solemn and spiritually uplifting havan ceremony for the students of Classes X and XII. The sacred ritual was conducted with the noble intention of seeking divine blessings for the students appearing for their upcoming Board exams in the academic session 2025–26, helping them step into this crucial phase with confidence, clarity, and positivity.  

The ceremony was performed by a pandit in the gracious presence of the school Principal, Dr Sonali Balwatkar, along with teachers and students. The rhythmic chanting of Vedic mantras, accompanied by the fragrance of incense and the warmth of the holy fire, created a serene and spiritually charged atmosphere across the campus. The sacred ambience encouraged students to pause, reflect, and channel their energies toward focus and determination.  

Offerings were made into the havan kund with prayers for wisdom, strength, success, and overall well-being. Each ritual symbolised purification of thoughts and the removal of obstacles, inspiring students to approach their examinations with a calm and positive mindset. The students participated wholeheartedly and maintained exemplary discipline throughout, demonstrating deep respect for the traditions and values upheld by the school.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal motivated the students with her encouraging words, urging them to remain confident, dedicated, and resilient. She emphasised that consistent effort, self-belief, and inner peace are the keys to achieving success. Her message instilled renewed determination and reassurance among the students.

The programme was meticulously organised, with thoughtful arrangements for decoration, seating, and the smooth conduct of rituals. Following the ceremony, prasad was distributed to all as a token of blessings and goodwill. Students then proceeded to their respective classrooms to collect their Admit Cards, marking an important milestone in their exam journey.

The havan ceremony concluded on a hopeful and positive note, beautifully reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education.
