Scholarly triumph for students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar 

Students from the BA Psychology (Hons.) Semester V programme perform exceptionally well in the final examinations

Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar continues to uphold its tradition of academic excellence, as students from the BA Psychology (Hons.) Semester V programme have delivered an exceptional performance in the final examinations conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University. With remarkable determination and intellectual rigour, the students secured an impressive seven out of the top ten university positions—an achievement that reflects the high academic standards and dedicated teaching at the institution.

Among the top achievers, Hardiljeet Kaur and Asmi Kalia shone brightly, securing 3rd position with an outstanding score of 88 out of 100. Close behind, Sandeep Singh and Shreya Aggarwal achieved 4th position, each earning 87 marks. Following them, Mannat Wadhwa and Kashish Kohli clinched the 6th position with 84 marks, while Lakshita Joshi made her mark by securing the 8th position with 82 marks.

The students’ commendable performance has once again positioned the college among the top academic institutions affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, showcasing not only individual brilliance but also the collective strength of the college’s Psychology department.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra lauded the efforts of the students, expressing her heartfelt congratulations and encouraging them to continue striving for academic excellence in the future. “Our students’ outstanding results are a testament to their hard work and the holistic education they receive here at Apeejay. I extend my best wishes as they continue their journey of learning and self-growth,” she remarked.

Dr. Dhingra also took the opportunity to recognise the unwavering commitment and mentorship provided by the college’s faculty. She specifically appreciated Ms. Niharika Majumdar and Ms. Harpreet Kaur, faculty members of the Psychology Department, for their relentless dedication, personalised guidance, and student-centric teaching approach. Dr Dhingra further mentioned, “The commitment and passion with which our faculty nurture and inspire students are at the heart of such achievements. I am proud of our bright scholars and confident they will continue to scale new heights.” 

This remarkable success underscores the synergy between hardworking students and supportive mentors and reaffirms Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar’s position as a centre of academic excellence and student empowerment.
