Please tell us about your interests/hobbies.
I love to play chess. I have participated recently in Punjab Khed Mela (state-level competition) too to test my abilities at the game. At home, I usually practice the sport with my father. He teaches me new tricks at the game each time!
Besides, outdoor activities such as cycling interest me. I also cook at home. I have taken an interest in making new dishes after my elder sister. She taught me how to bake. And so, my favourite is Choco Lava Cake.
At academics, my top subjects are: Science and Mathematics. I would like to mention that my school has provided me with a great platform to participate in all kinds of co-curricular activities as well. I have won accolades in many English Poem Recitation competitions, Spell Bee, are just some I wish to mention.

Tell us more about your write-up: Virtues of Life.
My father runs a non-governmental organisation in Jalandhar called Shri Amarnath B-Trust. As part of it, I too attempt to contribute to the greater good of the society.
Recently, I accompanied him to distribute food in the nearby slums. Seeing people’s faces as they received the packets was extremely satisfying for me. I have tried to put together the same line of thought in my write-up. I strongly believe that the feeling of being human and acting with humanity is the greatest virtue one must imbibe in their life.

The New Year 2023 is around the corner. What’s your resolution?
I hope to contribute more towards society and help those in need. In the coming year, my father and I plan to distribute warm clothes and books to children.
Career goal?
I want to become a cardiologist.
Your message to fellow citizens?
Try to touch someone’s heart with your unconditional generosity.
