Tell us about yourself.
I’m passionate about creativity, particularly expressing myself through writing for the Apeejay newsroom. My biggest inspiration and support comes from my mother, who has always encouraged my creative pursuits.
Do you take help from anyone while writing?
I write all my articles independently but occasionally seek my mother’s help. She provides valuable feedback, especially regarding correcting my grammatical mistakes.
How do you feel about becoming ‘scholar of the week’ for the first time?
I’m so happy right now. Hearing my mother say I’ve been selected feels amazing! This recognition motivates me to write even more articles.
Who’s your role model?
My idol is my mother, as she’s an avid writer herself. She has even penned several books!
What is your process of researching and writing?
When I first received the list of topics, I wondered what I could write about. At that time, I was playing badminton. My mother mentioned the topics, encouraging me to take a look. So I did some research on Google and then began writing.

Challenges you face while you are writing.
Whenever I get a new topic for an article, my mother helps clarify it for me. She also supports me in the writing process, which makes it easier to articulate my thoughts. Sometimes, when I want to write but can’t find the right words, I turn to various websites for inspiration.
Tips for budding writers.
First and foremost, don’t rely on Google to write your entire article. It’s important to express your own thoughts and imagination. That’s key!
