Apeejay School, Model Town, welcoming spring and wisdom with devotion and joy
As the gentle breeze of spring embraces the earth, nature comes alive with fresh blooms and vibrant hues. To welcome this season of renewal and wisdom, Apeejay School, Model Town, organised a special assembly to celebrate the festival of Basant Panchami with great enthusiasm and devotion.
The celebration commenced with a Saraswati puja, honouring Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of wisdom, learning, and the arts. Students and teachers gathered to offer prayers and seek her blessings for knowledge and enlightenment. The sacred rituals created an atmosphere of peace and reverence, marking a beautiful beginning to the event.
Adding a spiritual touch to the celebration, Ms Richa mesmerised the audience with her soulful Shloka Gyan recital. Her melodious voice resonated through the hall, filling everyone with a sense of divine energy and devotion.
Words of wisdom from the Officiating Principal
Ms Priyanka Grover, the Officiating Principal, addressed the gathering with inspiring words. She highlighted the importance of Basant Panchami and how it signifies the arrival of spring and the pursuit of wisdom. Her speech motivated the students to embrace learning with dedication and enthusiasm.
The theme of the celebration was yellow, a colour that represents happiness, energy, and prosperity. Both students and teachers came dressed in beautiful shades of yellow, adding to the festive spirit. The bright colour created a lively and cheerful atmosphere, perfectly complementing the occasion.
As a part of the tradition, prasadam was distributed among students and teachers after the puja. The sweet offering symbolised blessings and goodwill, spreading happiness among all present.
