Reaffirming love and connection with Apeejay Education’s legacy

The campus of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri was filled with nostalgia and joy as the institution hosted a grand Alumni Meet on the occasion of Republic Day. The event, held from 10 am to 1 pm, welcomed former students, providing them with an opportunity to relive their school memories, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate the legacy of their alma mater.

The day began with a tilak ceremony, a traditional Indian welcome, where each alumnus was greeted with warmth and respect. This heartfelt gesture immediately set the tone for the event, making them feel valued and appreciated.

As the clock struck 10 am, the flag-hoistingceremony commenced, signifying the school’s deep-rooted patriotism. The National Tricolour was unfurled by the Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, in the presence of the staff, students, and alumni. The entire gathering stood in unison, singing the National Anthem, a moment that resonated with pride and national spirit.

The students of Class XI then presented a special assembly, blending cultural performances with a deep sense of nostalgia. The programme included patriotic songs, mesmerising dance performances, and dramatic plays, celebrating India’s glorious history and the values instilled in every Apeejay School student. The performances left the audience captivated, evoking fond memories of their school days.

The event took an interactive turn with a series of fun games and activities designed to foster engagement and camaraderie. Alumni participated enthusiastically, laughing and reminiscing about their youthful days. The sense of belonging to the Apeejay Education family was evident as former students shared anecdotes from their timeatschool, reflecting on the impact the institute had on their personal and professional journeys.

A special highlight of the day was the cake-cutting ceremony, symbolising the unity between the school’s past and present. The air buzzed with excitement as alumni took to the stage, expressing their gratitude and admiration for their alma mater. Their speeches were filled with emotion, as they recalled cherished moments, the invaluable lessons learned, and the teachers who shaped their paths.

One of the alumni, Dr Amit Dalla, shared his heartfelt sentiments: “Coming back to Apeejay School Charkhi Dadri feels like coming home. The memories I have of this place are unforgettable, and today’s event was a perfect blend of nostalgia and celebration. The tilak ceremony, the flag hoisting, and the cultural performances by the students took me back to my school days. It is heartwarming to see that the school continues to uphold its tradition of excellence in education and values. I am proud to be an alumnus of such a wonderful institute. A heartfelt thank you to the Principal and the entire team for making us feel so special. I am eagerly waiting for the next Alumni meet.”
