Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, celebrates the ‘First Lady’ of Stya & Svran Group’s 101st birth anniversary with a soul-stirring art exhibition
In a heartfelt commemoration of grace, culture, and creativity, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, hosted the Rajeshwari Kala Utsav 2025. The occasion marked the 101st birth anniversary of Smt Rajeshwari Paul, the revered wife of Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group Dr Stya Paul and an enduring symbol of values, humility, and artistic spirit within the Apeejay Education community.
The event unfolded with a deep sense of reverence and celebration, paying tribute to a woman whose love for the arts and commitment to nurturing human goodness continues to inspire generations. The school campus came alive with colour, vibrance, and creativity as students, teachers, and staff joined in to honour the legacy of the ‘First Lady’ of Stya & Svran Group.
A floral tribute was offered as the first gesture of homage, followed by the reading of a poignant message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education. Delivered by the Officiating Principal of the school, Ms Vandana Bansal, the message beautifully encapsulated the essence of Smt Rajeshwari Paul’s life, highlighting her humility, grace, and unwavering belief in the transformative power of the arts.
The focal point of the celebration was the Rajeshwari Kala Utsav art exhibition, a magnificent showcase of student creativity from across all classes. Displayed with pride and thoughtfulness, the exhibition featured a diverse range of artworks blending traditional motifs with contemporary styles. Each piece reflected the students’ imagination, passion, and dedication to the values cherished by Smt Rajeshwari Paul.
From sketches and paintings to mixed-media expressions and cultural artefacts, the art pieces were not just aesthetically appealing but also deeply reflective of the school’s commitment to holistic education.
