How do you feel about learning at an IB school?

I appreciate how every concept in the IB curriculum is rooted in research — it not only deepens my understanding but also enhances my communication skills.

What is one thing you learned in your PYP years?

I’ve learnt so much during my time in the PYP. It has truly helped me grow into a more confident writer and speaker. The guidance and support from my mentors played a big role in this journey — they encouraged me to express myself clearly, think critically, and communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.

Any activity that you enjoyed lately?

One memorable experience was when I had to speak in the auditorium about Earth Plantation Day. It was a big moment for me, and I could really see how much my communication skills had improved, thanks to the support and practice I got in PYP.  In class, I often see myself as a thinker because I love asking questions and exploring ideas deeply. That curiosity helps me understand things better and keeps me actively engaged in learning.

Has the school helped you become a better person?

My mentors were amazing — they always made sure we understood everything clearly, and they did it in such a fun and engaging way.

Who helps you study at home?

My family was a big support during the exhibition, especially my mother. She helped me buy the materials I needed and also supported me with research.

What topic did you choose for your PYP exhibition?

I chose the Metaverse because I truly believe it’s the future of our world. It’s such an exciting concept, and I wanted to explore it more deeply.

What came into your mind when you were researching, and who helped you with it?

For my exhibition on the Metaverse, I received incredible support from both my mentors and my mom. Since the Metaverse is a highly research-based topic, I wanted to go beyond just online information and get real-world insights. My mentor helped me by referring me to the founder of a Metaverse-based startup who was located in Noida.

With my mom’s support, we traveled all the way to Noida to meet him in person. I approached him calmly and confidently, determined to learn as much as I could. The meeting was a big learning experience—I asked questions, took notes, and gained valuable insights that really helped shape my project. It made my research much more authentic and meaningful.

Favourite memory from PYP-5.

One of my favourite memories was visiting the science museum with my friends — we had so much fun singing on the bus! We went along with PYP-4, who travelled in a separate bus. The best part of the trip was exploring the Harappa Civilisation exhibit, where we discovered so many fascinating things about ancient life and culture.

What advice would you like to give to a future PYP-5 student?

Be ready to work hard and enjoy every moment of learning — there’s so much to discover in PYP 5! Have a blast and make the most of it. You’ve got this!
