Recently, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, celebrated a proud moment as students from Classes VIII and IX participated in the NCC Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC). The 10-day camp offered cadets an enriching experience that combined discipline, skill-building, and camaraderie. It became a platform where young learners tested their abilities, embraced challenges, and grew more confident with every passing day.

The camp introduced students to a wide range of training activities. From map-reading sessions that sharpened navigation skills to firing practice that tested focus and control, each exercise was designed to build confidence.

Sessions on disaster management prepared cadets for real-life challenges, while sports activities encouraged both fitness and teamwork. The diversity of experiences ensured that every student gained something meaningful, whether it was physical stamina, mental strength, or leadership qualities.

Special achievements

Two students from the school stood out for their remarkable efforts:

Ruwayf Rashid (IX-A) won a medal in the Tug of War event. Speaking about the experience, he shared, “The NCC Combined Annual Training Camp gave me an unforgettable experience; from tug of war victory to firing practice, disaster management, and sports. Each challenge taught me teamwork, discipline, confidence, and determination.”

Kushal (VIII-C) was recognised as the Most Disciplined Cadet. Reflecting on his journey, he said, “Being chosen for this honour motivates me to stay disciplined in everything I do, both in school and beyond.”

These achievements not only brought honour to the school but also highlighted the determination and spirit of its young learners.

The NCC camp was more than just drills and practice. It was a journey of growth where students discovered the value of perseverance and the strength of collective effort.

Saluting the cadets

The school community salutes its young cadets for carrying Apeejay Education’s spirit with pride. Their discipline, resilience, and enthusiasm are a reminder of how opportunities like the NCC camp help shape tomorrow’s leaders and inspire their peers to aim higher.
