President Murmu inspires graduates to forge a path toward a developed India

In a compelling address at the third convocation of Central University Jharkhand (CUJ) in Ranchi, President Droupadi Murmu passionately called upon students to dedicate themselves to the advancement and prosperity of India. The ceremony, attended by Chief Minister Champai Soren and Governor CP Radhakrishnan, resonated with the theme of empowering the nation through education and commitment.
President Murmu began by highlighting India’s unique demographic advantage, being one of the youngest nations globally, with 55% of its population below the age of 25. She emphasised that India at present, stands as the fifth-largest economy in the world and is poised to ascend to the third position by 2030. President Murmu underscored the national goal of transforming India into a developed country by 2047, providing students with an opportune moment to play a pivotal role in this transformative journey.
Expressing optimism about the future, President Murmu urged the graduating students to take a solemn pledge. Regardless of the field they chose to pursue, she encouraged them to align their efforts toward the common objective of building a developed India. The President’s address resonated with a sense of responsibility, urging the youth to harness the present socio-economic landscape and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.
Governor CP Radhakrishnan, while acknowledging the achievements of the graduating students, emphasised the broader responsibility that comes with education. Beyond shaping individual careers, students were reminded of their duty to actively participate in societal betterment.
