The school provides comprehensive support to its students, focusing on both academic excellence and overall development. “We chose Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, because it offers a balanced focus on academics, values, and overall holistic growth. Over the years, we have consistently received positive and reassuring feedback about the school from parents and the wider community. With siblings being alumni, there was already a sense of trust and familiarity, which made the decision feel natural and well-founded,” shares Dr Uma Sehgal, whose daughter, Nikita, studies in Class X here.

Read on to know how the school also integrates technology through online resources, interactive presentations, and practice tests.

How are the teachers preparing her for Boards?

The teachers are systematic and dedicated in their approach to Board preparation. Regular classes are supported by multiple exam rounds, including two pre-Boards. The school provides ample practice material, like sample papers and previous years’ questions.

How is the parent-teacher interaction here?

Parent-teacher interaction is frequent and meaningful. The school encourages regular partnership programmes between parents and teachers, which help in understanding the child’s progress more clearly. Teachers are approachable and supportive, and communication is timely and constructive.

How do you handle her studies at home?

Nikita has always been academically independent and self-motivated. From a young age, she has preferred managing her studies on her own. We maintain a regular check and provide support whenever needed, but she takes responsibility for her learning, which has helped her develop discipline and confidence.

Which extracurricular activities boost her personality?

Public speaking through debates and anchoring helped her become more confident and expressive. She enjoys painting. Reading for leisure is something she genuinely enjoys, and it has shaped her thinking and language over time. Writing allows her to express her thoughts freely, and we have seen it positively influence her overall personality.

How is the pedagogy structured?

The school follows a well-structured and student-focused pedagogy. Online course materials and presentations support classroom teaching, and the reverse classroom approach encourages students to come prepared and participate actively. Classes are interactive and engaging, with regular assessments that help reinforce learning and track progress consistently.
