Pre-launch press conference for new service ‘Chef on the Go’

Team Lintastic, representing the Swiggy brand, from Delhi-based Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) recently conducted a press conference to launch its new service ‘Chef on the Go’. The presentation included details about the service, the business model, consumer behaviour research, the focus group discussion, and the integrated marketing communication plan.

Arushi, a member of Team Lintastic, said, “It was an honour to speak on behalf of my team at the press conference. This significantly strengthened my confidence and presentation skill.”
Another team member Grishika mentioned, “The perspectives shared by attendees at the conference gave us a well-rounded understanding of the new concept.”
The spokespersons for Swiggy at the conference were Arushi Tomar, Vice President and National Business Head, and Priyamvada Chauhan, Head of Brand Marketing. The moderator for the conference was Grishika Jaggi. After the presentation, journalists were invited to ask questions before the conference concluded.
Priyamvada Chauhan, a member of Team AIMC Lintastic, and part of the panel representing the brand, emphasised, “The conference was a great learning experience.”
Further, Prof. (Dr.) Pijush Dutta mentions, “Believe me, every student feels like a brand custodian through this process. Every year, the press conference for the pre-launch of brands at AIMC, pushes me to my limits. The journalists follow every student around the conference hall, bombarding them with difficult questions. This is now an essential component of all students’ lives; it demonstrates the importance of a press that isn’t cowed down and persists in asking questions even if they get pushed to the back of the room at a press conference.”
