Academic excellence is a combination of hard work, discipline, and a passion for learning. At Apeejay School, Saket, students strive for excellence, and this year, two young achievers have shone brightly with their exceptional performances in the 6B. Let’s meet Tarrasha Kalra and Aditya Chaudhary, the star performers of the session 2024-2025, as they share their journey, study strategies, and school experiences.

Tarrasha Kalra: A Consistent Learner with a Creative Side

Scoring an impressive 94% in her 6B exams, Tarrasha Kalra believes that consistency is the key to success. “I study regularly for 2-3 hours a day,” she shared. Her favorite subjects are Mathematics and Science, and her approach to studying is simple yet effective—understanding concepts rather than rote memorization.

When asked about her preparation strategy for Mathematics, she confidently said, “I just see the concepts and understand them.” Unlike many students who start intensive studying only before exams, Tarrasha ensures she keeps up with her studies from the very beginning of the session.

Beyond academics, she has a keen interest in art and dance. She participated in the annual function at her school, performing a classical dance. “I love to draw and paint,” she added, highlighting her creative pursuits. Tarrasha cherishes her school life, especially her teachers and friends, and enjoys spending her free time drawing and playing games.

Aditya Chaudhary: A Dedicated Student Who Believes in Practice

Securing 93.8% in the 6B, Aditya Chaudhary was both surprised and elated when he found out he was among the star performers. “I was shocked! I suddenly knew that I was a star performer, and I was very happy,” he said enthusiastically.

His favorite subjects are Science and Mathematics, in which he scored 58/60 and 57/60, respectively. His study mantra is “Practice and write.” “The only secret to excelling in Mathematics and Science is practicing and writing. That’s how I remember the formulas and concepts,” he explained.

Aditya also enjoys outdoor sports, particularly cricket, which helps him maintain a balance between studies and extracurricular activities. His first day in 7th standard was exciting as he reunited with old friends and met new ones. “Our classrooms have new desks and chairs, which are very good,” he mentioned, showing his appreciation for his school’s infrastructure.
