This parent had heard encouraging feedback about the caring and nurturing environment at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK II, along with its child-friendly teaching approach and the personal attention given to each child. The school’s emphasis on overall development, rather than academics alone, was especially reassuring. Keeping these factors in mind, she enrolled her son, Ahaan Arora, in the kindergarten,” Ms Jasleen said.
In a candid interview, she shares the aspects of the school’s early learning approach that have mattered most.
What changes have you noticed in Ahaan since joining?
Since joining the kindergarten, he has become more confident, expressive, and independent. We have noticed improvements in his communication skills, social interaction, and enthusiasm toward learning new things.
What aspects of the school’s approach to early learning have been most meaningful?
The play-based learning approach, which focuses on emotional development and encouragement of creativity, has been most meaningful. The balance between structured activities and free play has helped Ahaan learn naturally and joyfully.
How does your toddler respond to the teachers and caregivers?
He responds very positively to the teachers and caregivers. He often talks about his day, mentions his teacher with affection, and tries to repeat songs, actions, and activities at home, which reflects his comfort and happiness at school.
Is there a particular moment that reassured you that your child is in the right place?
Seeing my son willingly participate in group activities and happily talk about school experiences reassured us that he feels safe, valued, and supported in the school environment.
How would you describe the communication and support you receive from the school?
The communication from the school has been transparent, timely, and reassuring. Regular updates, feedback, and openness to discussions make us feel involved and supported in Ahaan’s learning journey.
Parenting tips that you use for your toddler.
We try to maintain a consistent routine, encourage open communication, and allow Ahaan to explore and learn at his own pace. Positive reinforcement and patience are key parts of our parenting approach.
If you had to describe the kindergarten in a colour, what would it be and why?
I would describe the kindergarten as yellow, as it represents warmth, happiness, positivity, and an energetic learning environment that helps children grow joyfully.
