Patriotism takes centre stage at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park

Students, parents, and teachers come together to celebrate and learn about the Indian national flag.

Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park recently hosted a special assembly focusing on “Indian National Flag – The Symbol of Freedom and National Pride”. This event, held at the school’s premises, aimed to deepen the understanding of the national flag’s significance among students, parents, and teachers.

The assembly began with a captivating skit that traced the evolution of the Indian flag from 1906 to 1947, shedding light on its historical importance. This was followed by a patriotic song and a poignant poetry recitation, which stirred deep emotions and reinforced the pride in the nation’s symbols. A group dance added to the celebratory atmosphere, highlighting national pride.

To educate the audience about the respectful display and usage of the flag, an informative session was conducted. This session covered the guidelines and prohibited practices related to the flag, ensuring that all attendees understood the protocols for its respectful display.

An engaging quiz on the flag’s history and design encouraged enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and teachers, helping to reinforce their knowledge. The assembly concluded with a powerful Nukkad Natak on environmental safety, conveying that with freedom comes responsibility.

Lastly, Ms. Surabhi Joshi, Principal of the school, praised the students for their enthusiastic participation and the efforts put into making the assembly a success. The event was a beautifully presented showcase of patriotism, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
