The campus of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, came alive with emotion and enthusiasm as Republic Day celebrations were thoughtfully combined with an alumni meet. The event brought together students, teachers, staff, and former students, creating a rare blend of national pride and personal connection.
The programme opened with the unfurling of the National Flag. As the National Anthem echoed across the campus, the gathering stood together in quiet respect. The moment set a dignified tone and reminded everyone of the values that bind the nation and the school community.

A special morning assembly presented by the students of Class IX became a defining highlight. Through speeches and patriotic presentations, the students spoke about unity, democracy, and responsibility. Their confidence and clarity reflected strong preparation and a deep understanding of civic values. Alumni and guests appreciated the sincerity with which the students expressed their thoughts.
Reconnecting beyond classrooms
To ensure alumni felt welcomed, the school organised interactive games and friendly activities. These moments sparked laughter and easy conversations, helping alumni reconnect with old friends and teachers. Cultural performances followed, featuring energetic dances and soulful patriotic songs. The performances added colour to the day and received warm applause.
Alumni shared their journeys and memories. Many expressed pride in returning to a campus that continues to grow while staying rooted in its values. Their words served as quiet guidance for the current students.

A message to carry forward
The school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, welcomed the alumni, extended Republic Day greetings, and said, “It was heartening to welcome our esteemed alumni back to their alma mater. Their presence inspired our students and strengthened the bond between the past and the present. I commend the students and teachers for organising a meaningful programme that reflected patriotism and unity. May our institution continue to nurture responsible citizens who uphold the values of our great nation with dedication and pride,” he shared.
