Why did you choose Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg?

As an alumnus of the same school, I have fond memories of my schooling right from kindergarten to Class XII. I saw the school progress much beyond those times, keeping its ethos intact. Its central location was another reason to go with this choice.

How are the teachers supporting her?

Aanya has been fortunate to have extremely committed teachers right from UKG till her present Class VII. Her teachers have guided her through kindergarten, primary, and now middle school classrooms with immense love, care, and patience. I am proud of the values she upholds and imbibes, especially honesty, generosity, and integrity, which align with our parenting principles. She is a curious child, and I’m glad that the teaching practices at Apeejay have supported her learning without dimming her curiosity. I hope the school continues to implement new pedagogical methods to prepare her for a rapidly changing future.

Which extracurricular activities does she enjoy?

Aanya has varied interests, including reading and writing, which Apeejay School has nurtured through initiatives like book writing and a dedicated e-library. She published her first book last year, encouraged by the motivation of her English teacher, which pleasantly surprised us as well. Aanya is also keen on sports and enjoys basketball and table tennis, making full use of the school’s sports infrastructure and coaching.

The school offers impressive infrastructure facilities. The spacious building, with ample natural sunlight and cross-ventilation, is a significant advantage, especially from a medical perspective. During my recent visit, I was pleased to see the well-equipped computer lab. Additionally, the morning sports coaching is a major benefit, as it helps inculcate health and fitness habits in students at the ideal time of day.

How are the safety protocols at this school?

The school has well-guarded gates and monitored entry and exit points, ensuring strong campus security. The presence of a female sports instructor is a thoughtful and reassuring addition. The campus is also equipped with CCTV surveillance throughout, further enhancing the safety of all students.

Do you feel Apeejay School is like a second home for her?

Yes, Apeejay School truly feels like a second home for Aanya. Her journey here has been smooth and enriching. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the school’s online platform was well-structured and supportive. As she transitioned into the middle school years, we, as parents, have consistently sought guidance from her teachers and coordinator to help her work towards her goals. I’m especially grateful to the Coordinator, ma’am, for her valuable time during the recent PTM and for sharing insightful inputs that will help make Aanya future-ready.
