One for the nurturer and protector: Mother

Apeejay School, Saket, celebrated Mother’s Day recently with great enthusiasm, joy, and heartfelt admiration. The celebration, spanning multiple activities and performances, was a tribute to the unconditional love, strength, and sacrifice of mothers, beautifully capturing the spirit of gratitude that young hearts hold for their first teachers and lifelong supporters.

The event witnessed active participation from students of nursery to Class VII, who brought forth their creativity and talent in ways that truly touched the hearts of all present. The festivities began with the much-awaited Style Parade, a vibrant display of fashion and bonding, where students walked the ramp alongside their mothers. Clad in creative costumes and coordinated outfits, the pairs exuded charm, confidence, and joy, making the parade a delightful experience for the audience. The proud smiles on the faces of the mothers and the applause from teachers and fellow parents added warmth to the event.

Next in line was the Spotlight-Talent Search, a showcase of the immense talents that Apeejay School nurtures. Students performed confidently across diverse categories, including singing, dancing, acting, and playing musical instruments. Each performance was met with cheers and encouragement, making it a platform where children not only demonstrated their skills but also honoured their mothers in the most creative ways.

The Jewellery Design-Beads of Love activity added a unique artistic touch to the celebration. Students designed beautiful pieces of jewellery using colourful beads and other materials, symbolising the precious bond they share with their mothers. These handmade tokens of love served as heartfelt gifts, carrying emotions that words often fail to express.

Adding to the festive spirit were classroom activities like greeting card making and crafting paper bags. Each activity was infused with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, as students poured their love and creativity into their work. Teachers guided the young learners, helping them articulate their feelings through art and words.

The day concluded on a high note, filled with laughter, love, and a strong sense of togetherness. Apeejay School, Saket, once again demonstrated its commitment to holistic education by celebrating not just academic success, but emotional and cultural values.
