‘Nobita becomes a scientist’: Short story by Janvi Sharma, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar

Hello everyone, today I will tell you about the end of an epic friendship known worldwide, the friendship of Doraemon and Nobita. As usual, Nobita came
home from school crying after being beaten up by Gian. But when he reached his home, Nobita discovered that Doraemon was not moving, he was frozen at a place. 

Nobita started crying, with heavy heart he dialed a call to Doremi (Doraemon’s sister) who told him that the battery of Doraemon had expired and it cannot be replaced as Doraemon’s ears have already been eaten by a mouse, which was the battery’s location. 

Nobita promised himself to save Doraemon. He preserved Doraemon for years.The one who never wanted to study, was now called as the science leader of Japan. He worked hard, burnt the midnight oil and finally developed a battery for Doraemon. When the battery got inserted, Doraemon again came to life, it was like a new birth of his with a new pair of ears and a yellow colour.

But as soon as he woke up, the first thing Doraemon did was to ask Nobita for his homework. Both started crying and reunited.

“Even after years, Nobita had a hope,
To get Doraemon again was his scope,
It was their true friendship which 
Tied them together in a rope.”
