Share your preparation strategy.
My preparation strategy mostly revolved around concept clarity and NCERT reading. I solved MCQs regularly and made sure to give a part syllabus or full syllabus test of 3 hours at least twice a week. By the time May rolled around, I was giving two full syllabus tests a day, five days a week, for the last two months.
What does your study routine look like?
A normal weekday consisted of me waking up at 7 am, freshening up and sitting down to study by 8.30 am. From 8.30 to 10 am, I solved physics MCQs and revised the Physics NCERT. I again studied from 10.30 am to 4 pm. After which I studied from 6 pm to 12 am and sometimes till 2 am. I had no strict timing or schedule for Chemistry and Biology. Since last year, I knew I was strong in them already, so I just focused on not letting my concepts get weakened and mainly focused as much as possible on Physics.
How was the difficulty level of the exam this time?
The paper was honestly a jolt to my system. Reading the first question, I immediately understood that this paper is going to be even harder than the JEE Mains.

What were the challenges you faced during exam time? How did you overcome that?
Time management was a major problem. I have always started my paper with Physics in my mocks, as I felt it was my strongest subject. It was a mistake to do so in this paper. My target of an hour for Physics was lost in the wind as I overshot my time window by nearly an hour, taking a total of two hours. I solved the entirety of Chemistry and Biology in 15 minutes each, which left me making silly mistakes and no time to recheck. Chemistry had questions copied and pasted from JEE Advanced PYQs, and Biology had some questions from pages I had never even thought to read. But all the practice came in handy as I finished the paper in the nick of time, scoring a total of 552 and an All India Rank of 11.5k.
Which medical field do you want to pursue?
I intend to pursue MBBS with a focus on paediatrics and research.
Any message for future NEET aspirants?
I would say consistency is key. Discipline is necessary. On the days you don’t want to study, and you do, is the separation factor between you and your competition. Believe in yourself and do not neglect your NCERTs.
