NEET-PG 2025: NBEMS releases merit list for 50% all-India quota seats

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has published the much-awaited merit list for 50% All-India Quota (AIQ) seats for the NEET-PG 2025 exam. This list is now available on their official website—natboard.edu.in—for candidates seeking admission in the 2025–26 academic year.

Who Can Check the Merit List?

Candidates who appeared in NEET-PG 2025 and aim to secure seats in:

  • MD (Doctor of Medicine)
  • MS (Master of Surgery)
  • Postgraduate Diploma courses
  • Post-MBBS DNB (Diplomate of National Board)
  • DrNB (Direct 6-year Doctorate of National Board)
  • NBEMS Diploma courses

are eligible to view the merit list and check their rank.

What Does the Merit List Include?

Upon accessing the merit list, candidates can find details such as:

  • Roll number
  • Application ID
  • NEET-PG score and overall rank
  • AIQ (All-India Quota) rank
  • Category-wise AIQ rank (OBC, SC, ST, EWS)

States and union territories will independently prepare merit lists for their respective State Quota seats, based on their own eligibility and reservation guidelines.

What’s Next?

  • The NEET-PG 2025 result was declared on August 19, 2025, following the exam conducted on August 3 in a single shift
  • Qualified candidates—those scoring at or above the cut-off—can participate in AIQ counselling organised by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)
  • The AIQ scorecards will be available for download from September 5, 2025. Each candidate can access theirs for up to six months only
  • The MCC will soon share the counselling schedule, seat matrix, and related procedures on its official platform (mcc.nic.in)
