The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) issued the NEET PG 2025 City Intimation Slip. This is the first formal notification informing registered postgraduate medical aspirants of their assigned exam cities.
What Is the City Intimation Slip?
Purpose: Not an admit card, the slip simply reveals the assigned exam city. Its aim is to enable early travel and accommodation planning.
Distribution: Available via email (sent to registered IDs) and accessible through the NBEMS portal (natboard.edu.in).
Important Dates & Process
City Intimation Slip Released: July 21, 2025
Admit Card Release: Scheduled for July 31, 2025; this document will specify the exact venue and reporting time.
NEET PG Exam: Set for August 3, 2025, conducted in a single shift following a Supreme Court directive.
Key Details & Instructions
Contents of Slip: Candidate’s name, application/roll number, and allotted exam city.
City Allocation Method: Based on a first‑come, first‑served system from submitted preferences. NBEMS reserves the right to allot alternate cities if preferred ones are unavailable.
No Changes Allowed: Once issued, exam cities cannot be changed.
Exact Centre Details: These will appear only on the admit card along with date, time, and venue address.
What Should Be Done
Candidates are advised to:
Verify the city slip carefully for accuracy.
Plan travel and accommodation based on the stated exam city.
Download and retain the slip via email or the NBEMS website login.
Watch for the admit card release on July 31, which will include additional critical details.
NBEMS has provided a helpline (+91‑7996165333) to address queries or discrepancies regarding the slip
Indiatimes.
Aspirant Concerns
Several examinees reported that some slips mention only the state instead of the actual city, causing confusion. NBEMS clarifies that the slip still represents the correct city allocation, and the precise centre address will appear on the admit card.
