She ensures financial compliance in auditing, taxation and business advisory for her organisation that testifies to her exceptional knowledge-based skills. Meet Sharanya Ganesh Holla from the batch 2016 of Apeejay School, Kharghar. In a candid interview, she shares words of wisdom for students studying at school.
What are you pursuing now and what’s your ambition?
I am a Chartered Accountant working as an Assistant Manager in KPMG Assurance, Bengaluru. Believing that learning never stops, I am, at present, pursuing a Diploma in IFRS alongside my job. My ambition is to continuously expand my expertise and excel in the field of finance and assurance.
How were the teachers here?
They were not just educators but also served as caring friends, offering guidance and mentorship in all aspects of life. Their vision, coupled with rules and regulations, ensured a nurturing environment where students felt supported and loved.
Share your favourite memories from school.
Some of my favourite memories from school include the moments spent studying with my peers, the unique experience of exams, and the joy of learning together while embracing different cultural values. These memories highlight the camaraderie and diversity that enriched my educational journey.
Which extracurricular activities did you enjoy at school?
I enjoyed taking part in extracurricular activities like preparing for Annual Days, Class Assemblies, Farewells, competitions, and cultural events during my school years. These experiences allowed me to showcase my talents, build confidence, and create lasting memories with friends and teachers.
