Like at home, a school is a place where students form strong social connections. They build friendships, interact with peers and teachers, and develop a sense of community. “Teachers and staff here often provide emotional and academic support, similar to how parents and family members support children at home. This includes mentorship, counselling, and encouragement,” shares Srushti Parhar whose son Akshaj studies in class VII at Apeejay School, Nerul.

How has your son’s journey been at school so far?
He has thrived and his teachers have a major role in that. Right from his Nursery days, teachers have encouraged and supported him throughout to this day and he has come a long way in imbibing moral values and self-confidence. He has come a long way since he joined this school and I am happy about this.
How are the teachers here?
The interactive approach of the teachers here is the best part about Apeejay. There are dedicated WhatsApp groups that help parents to keep in touch with the staff and all relevant information is shared over there. The teachers are extremely encouraging and go out of their way to work on weak areas of my son.
Which extracurricular activities does your son enjoy?
My son is inclined towards cultural activities here. There are so many competitions organised from the primary level which helps the child in exploring his multifarious talent and abilities. Right now my son is looking forward to participating in public speaking events like – debating, and elocution.
Why did you select Apeejay as an admission choice for your child?
I had heard about this school’s credibility so much through word of mouth. I knew for sure that I wanted my child to study here. There were great reviews for the school’s academic standard so I wanted my child to go to Apeejay. To be honest I had no plan B.
How are the school infrastructure and facilities?
The school so far has undergone several upgrades and I am sure it will continue to build better facilities for its students. Over the past year, I have certainly seen a lot of changes in terms of building improvisations.
Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?
It is to a large extent true since a large part of my son’s lifetime is spent at school. And now I can observe his deep attachment to his teachers. My son has a soft spot for all his teachers here and I am extremely glad that the school stresses building a moral value system in its students.
