‘My son is not hesitant anymore to speak in front of an audience’

How has Shaurya’s experience been academically and socially?
I am very satisfied. Academically, Shaurya is thriving. The teachers use age-appropriate teaching methods, and there are plenty of activities that keep the children engaged. Socially, he is making great relationships with both peers and adults. He’s confident and enjoys participating in various school activities.

Can you share some specific activities that Shaurya enjoys at school?
Shaurya loves sports activities, especially the “sports guru” sessions. He also enjoys visiting the library, which is very well-equipped with a variety of books. He talks about his experiences there often, indicating how much he enjoys reading and learning.

How do you feel about the school’s infrastructure and facilities?
The infrastructure is excellent. The school has large libraries, ample sports facilities, and spacious classrooms. The open environment is crucial for physical growth and the holistic development of the children. I feel that the school provides everything necessary for the well-rounded growth of students.

What do you think about the teaching staff at Apeejay?
The teachers are wonderful. They are warm, patient, and knowledgeable. They know how to handle the children well and engage them in meaningful activities. Shaurya speaks very highly of his teachers, and I’ve seen their dedication firsthand during parent-teacher meetings.

Have you noticed any improvements in Shaurya’s confidence and communication skills?
Absolutely. Shaurya is very confident and has excellent communication skills. He participates in assemblies, sports events, and other activities, which has helped build his confidence. He’s not hesitant to speak in front of an audience, which is a significant achievement for his age.

How has Shaurya’s environment at Apeejay School contributed to his curiosity, both academically and personally?
The environment at Apeejay School has played a crucial role in developing Shaurya’s confidence. He feels comfortable interacting with relatives and friends, and he also shows great interest in academic discussions, even those related to my work as a professor at NCERT. He’s always curious, asking about my work and innovations. This inquisitiveness extends to topics like photosynthesis, space, and galaxies. His ability to engage in conversations with adults and speak confidently on various platforms is something even my mother has noticed and appreciated.

How does the school ensure the safety and security of the students?
The school takes safety very seriously. Shaurya travels by the school bus, which has proper caretakers to ensure the children are safe. The bus system is well-organised, and the caretakers manage the children efficiently. Additionally, the school has a well-equipped medical room to handle any minor injuries or health issues.

Any final thoughts on your experience with Apeejay School?
I am extremely grateful to Apeejay School for providing such a nurturing environment for Shaurya. The school’s focus on holistic development has helped him grow into a confident and well-rounded individual. I look forward to seeing him continue to thrive here.
