In Class VII, students are at a pivotal stage of development, transitioning into more independent learners. “At this stage, students here are encouraged to develop independent thinking, time management, and strong study habits. Teachers provide concept-based learning, interactive lessons, and regular assessments to strengthen understanding,” shares Dimple Klair, whose son Shaurya studies in Class VII at Apeejay School, Model Town.
Read on to know how co-curricular activities such as sports, art, music, and clubs help students explore their interests and build confidence.
How are the teachers supporting your child?
The teachers have been very supportive, be it through regular feedback, encouragement, or helping him improve in areas where he needs more focus. They’re approachable and genuinely care about the child’s growth.

Which extracurricular activities does your child enjoy?
He frequently enjoys participating in the SOF Olympiad. Apart from that, he’s passionate about playing football casually during his PT periods. He also plays the guitar, which helps him relax and express his creative side.
Why did you choose Apeejay School, Model Town?
We chose it because of its strong academic reputation, focus on discipline, and the overall environment that encourages holistic development. It felt like the right place for my child to grow, not just academically, but personally too.
Which infrastructure facilities are impressively child-friendly?
The school’s infrastructure is very student-friendly. The well-equipped science and computer labs, spacious library, and well-maintained sports facilities really help create a positive learning environment. Even things like the cleanliness and safety measures in a place can make a big difference in the overall experience.

How has his learning been so far?
While the academics are rigorous, I don’t feel there’s unhealthy pressure. The school balances expectations with support. He has learned to manage his time well, stays consistent with studies, and also makes time for himself, which helps him stay motivated and cool-headed.
Is Apeejay School like a second home for your child?
Yes, over time, it has truly become like a second home for him. He feels comfortable, supported, and connected — not just with his teachers but also with his surroundings. The environment is safe, structured, and positive, which makes him look forward to going every day.
