Vedant Malhotra is a class 8 student of Apeejay School, Faridabad, Sector-15. He trains in the football academy in school before the classes and then attends to each and every subject equally. In a quick chat with his mother, Mrs Sakshi Malhotra, we learn about Vedant’s performance at the school and explore his studious nature. Read edited excerpts:
We hope Vedant is enjoying school?’
He loves school. The school staff, the faculty are so helpful. Vedant’s class teacher Ms Surbhi Jain always responds within 2-3 minutes whenever I have any query about his performance. She is so helpful and all the teachers are so cooperative as well.
Vedant is currently the second ranker in his class. I am thankful to the school, this achievement is due to them.
Are the teachers using any fun learning strategies?
Yes. Thanks to their fun teaching techniques, my son is now taking part in all the school activities. At present, he takes extra classes for the Olympiads. Since her tenure, Ms Anita Yadav, Principal ma’am has brought in such a good change at the school.
Which subjects does he like the most?
Since Nursery he loves to study and read books. I would give him children’s books back then and he loved reading new things. He likes all subjects equally.

Any interest in sports?
He plays football in the academy at school in the morning . He likes cricket as well but football is his main choice.
What about extracurricular?
He likes taking part in speeches and debates. As you can see, even here, he likes the scholastic extracurriculars. My son is very studious by nature.
Finally, any recent achievements?
He is getting better marks day by day. He holds the second position in his class and his teachers encourage him that he will reach the first position, just a bit more hard work is required.
