‘My son goes to another home in the garb of school’

To keep students involved with learning and play, schools can adopt a balanced and engaging approach. “The teachers here use storytelling, role-plays, and visual aids to make lessons more engaging. They incorporate educational games and group activities to encourage peer interaction,” shares Daljeet Singh whose son Akshit studies in class III at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

Read on to learn how this school blends academics with play and creativity.

Why did you choose Apeejay for admission?

I observed that all my friends and relatives have enrolled their children in Apeejay, so after consulting with them I surprisingly received very positive reviews about this school. And later I decided to enrol my son here.

How are the teachers here?

The school has a young, dynamic lot of teachers who know how to efficiently handle kids. The staff here has been overtly kind and supportive towards me and has been there for any problem and issue I have had.

Which extracurricular activities does your son enjoy?

My son enjoys and actively participates in sports activities. He is fond of Kho-kho and cricket a lot. The school has spectacular sports activities for kids.

How are the school infrastructure and facilities?

The school has lived up to all my expectations so far. Recently, I have seen plenty of innovative changes in the school.

Do you feel Apeejay is like a second home for your child?

Yes totally. So far Akshit has found a typical homely environment at school which has helped him to adjust well and find a comfortable space there. He has started to form new friendships with students and bonds with the teachers here.

What has he learnt academically so far?

His favourite subject is Math and he takes a keen interest in writing and reading a lot. Like every parent, I also have big dreams for my child. I want him to join IAS or IPS and get into government service like me.
