MY FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS GIFT

Like every Christmas Eve this year too, I wrote my wish to Santa but this year instead of asking for something special, I asked Santa to surprise me and on Christmas morning I was excited. I found a huge box under my Christmas tree with my name on it. I opened it and “it was a microscope”! Well Santa did surprise me. Microscope is a device used to see very tiny objects; I read it in my E.V.S book. And I also saw a microscope in my dad’s lab, since then I wanted to have one.

I was super happy to see a microscope as my Christmas gift. I spent the entire day using it to explore micro things around me such as cells in onion peel, leaves and my hair. Onion peels and leaves look like they are made of many small boxes and green nets respectively. My hair looks like a long rope. I was very surprised, happy and felt like a little scientist.

I wanted to explore many more things such as water drops, flower pedals and germs. I cannot wait to show it to my friends.

This microscope made my Christmas very special. Undoubtedly, it’s my favourite gift and it makes me love science more.

Thank you, Santa, for my lovely Christmas gift.
