Mrs Mansahib Kaur is a homemaker. Her daughter Kiwsheen Kaur is a class four student at Apeejay School, Model Town. In a brief interview, Mrs. Kaur highlights what makes the school the best choice for her child. Edited excerpts:
Why did you choose Apeejay School Model Town ahead of other schools for Kiwsheen’s admission?
Apeejay is a family culture for us. My husband, my brother-in-law and many of my family members are Apeejay alumni. So, it is a family tradition. All are well-educated and well-settled. And so, I thought my daughter should be like them and I chose to enroll her in Apeejay School, Model Town. My son Daksh is two years old at present. I am planning to enroll him at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld next year.

Please tell us a bit about Kiwsheen and take us through her progress at school?
Kiwsheen is a very courageous and playful child. She loves to speak and play. Her favourite subject is General Knowledge. She is a very keen observer. Whenever we go on a holiday, she keenly observes the places and our plan of action. The school is encouraging her a lot and building her confidence.
Are the teachers engaging well with the students?
The teachers are too good. They are just like second mothers. Teachers in Apeejay Model Town are friendly and take care of every student. I would like to thank Meeta Oberoi ma’am, she is very supportive and polite.
What is the best thing about the school?
It is not a school, it is a home away from home. Parents are fully satisfied, they can rest at home since they know that their children are in safe hands.
How was the experience of the online classes for Kiwsheen?
It was very good. It was hectic for parents and teachers. But Apeejay Model Town excelled in this area as well.
Is Kiwsheen happy to rejoin the school physically?
She is more than happy to be back at the school. She was so excited, she would always ask me when the school would reopen.
