‘My daughter is very happy at Apeejay’
This parent describes her daughter’s progress at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus
Pakhi is a diligent Masters of Computer Applications student at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering GTechnical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar . Currently in her last semester, she is being groomed well for the college placements as she prepares to take on the outside world.
Speaking with her mother Ms Seema in a quick interview, we learn about Pakhi’s progress in the classroom and her co-curricular interests. Read edited excerpts:
We hope Pakhi is having a good journey at AIMETC?
She is enjoying and growing almost everyday at the college. Her grades are very good and she is finding her strengths and developing them further.
Are the teachers doing justice to the students?
The teachers are very good. Pakhi praises many teachers and says the staff is very supportive and always encouraging. They are readily available in case a student has any doubts and always motivates them to do better.
Any co-curricular interests?
Speech, music and dance are her absolute favourites. She often participates in the college events in these areas and does very well.
So, what is her career aim?
Getting a well paying job in the IT industry. This is the field where her passion lies and she is most interested and wants to do well here.
How are things going with the college placement?
The teachers are training the students well. Resume writing, panel discussion, interview facing skills are all being taught. Many students are getting placed in the season and it is a big boost to the career of all students.
Are you satisfied with AIMETC as a parent?
I am totally satisfied, this is the best place for any student to grow. My daughter is very happy here.
